2) A good tip for ensuring that you are watering enough is by placing dishes or cans around the garden to keep track of the amount water they are accumulating from the watering system you have in place. If it takes 1 week to fill them to 1 inch, then you are bang on!

3) A good way to tell if you have watered the lawn enough is to stick a probe into the soil. If it goes in without problems you know it has enough water.

4) Because of the hot temperatures we can experience in the South of Spain, it is a good idea to water your lawn at night or early in the morning for best results. If you water in the afternoon it will evaporate.
