Meet the Team
MAXIMO ALVAREZ – GARMÓN – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Max has lived in Marbella, Spain for most of his life. He has a degree in Business Administration from Saddleback College in California, USA, and worked for a large property developer on the coast before becoming involved in the La Costa project in 1999. He has a wealth of experience in the Spanish Property market and his dedication and professionalism are transmitted in the way his company does business. A keen sportsman, he particularly enjoys playing a round of golf whenever his busy schedule allows him to.
ROBERT CUNILD – SALES & RENTALS
Born in Spain from Danish parents, Robert speaks perfect Spanish, English and Danish. Having completed a Masters degree in International Marketing at the University of Copenhagen and worked for a Danish multinational company, he decided that he wanted more sunshine in his life and moved back to Marbella. Over the last 8 years he has successfully run his family’s swimming pool construction and maintenance business here on the Costa del Sol and now brings his knowledge and experience to La Costa’s management team. In his free time he likes to relax reading a good book and can also be seen on the golf course trying to improve his handicap.
JUSTIN THOMPSON – SALES & MARKETING
Having graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in European Business Studies, Justin decided to move back home to Spain where he was born and raised. He has extensive knowledge of the hospitality and Real Estate markets on the coast having worked in the Spanish Leisure division of one of Ireland’s largest home builders. His position as Resort Manager of the company’s flagship resort in Marbella and later as Associate Director within the Property Development division means that La Costa can benefit from his Customer Service and general management skills. Also a keen golfer, he very rarely has time to join the other guys on the golf course as his free time is taken up looking after his two year old twin daughters!
ANA MONTES – CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ana is bilingual in Spanish and English (Her mother is from Cambridge) and has been with La Costa for over 5 years now. Her naturally friendly and caring personality mean that she is the ideal person to ensure that our clients receive fast, friendly and efficient service. If any of our clients have a problem, you can be certain that Ana will find a way to solve it! Ana enjoys spending her free time going out with her friends and taking long walks on the beach with her mischievous dog, Kira. Oh, we almost forgot……if you need a babysitter for your children whilst in Marbella, then look no further as Ana is our official Babysitter!
MARTA SEGOVIA – CUSTOMER SERVICE
Marta is the latest member of our customer service team, joining La Costa just over a year ago. She shares responsibilities for all customer service issues with Ana as well as taking care of more specific administrative duties such as dealing with electricity, water and telephone companies – you should see her in action…..the poor soles at Sevillana don’t stand a chance when Marta needs and issue resolved! – Her free time is normally spent in the countryside with her family and their beautiful labrador, Coffee. Marta’s dream? To have her own house in the countryside with a nice plot of land to grow her own organic vegetables!
